If you’ve been looking outside of yourself to find your leadership style, you may need to look again…
True leadership is always going to be an inside job.
Because if you’re a leader, it’s who you naturally are.
If someone is having a crisis, or there's a problem to solve, you feel the 'pull' to help, because you know how. Even if you didn't' immediately know how, you would work it out.
Whereas, understanding the best way for you to lead can be very confusing and prevent you from going for new opportunities because you're not sure if you're 'leading' in the right way.
If this is feeling like a struggle, it's a sign you've strayed from your true self, meaning you can't see your inherent gifts and it's creating a distrust with (your) self.
So you try to lead from a place that doesn't feel right.
Because your natural way, the way you're designed to lead, doesn’t feel natural - it feels off, wrong, even alien.
It feels 'off' because of your conditioning, which likely didn't celebrate or nurture 'your way' of leading in your business and life.
So you’ll try and do things by other people’s way, until you realise that was never going to work.
And how could it when it was never how you're supposed to be?
The good news is that anything that prevented you from being all of you, is not permanent.
It’s the true leaders who will course correct.
The pull to lead, to create something bigger, is so strong that they will overcome the distance between who they’ve been and their true self.
The women that know they’re here to stand for something will make it their business to learn their strengths and gifts and how to showcase them.
No matter how many self worth issues were in their way.
The women that are doing what no one in their family ever did will learn, to the deepest level, how to trust themselves.
Because these are the kind of women who keep showing up when it’s hard, when they don’t feel like it and when they don’t have all of the answers.
Because they know that’s what leaders do.
Leaders take the first step even if they don’t know all of the others, because every time they do they make space for someone else.
And when you start taking those steps as who you really are, everything starts to line up for you.
You can take action from ease, rather than expectation.
You can choose opportunities from your ideas, rather than your old identity.
And you can make money from your sovereignty, rather than your victim story.
When you see your gifts and remember how to trust yourself, everything in your business and life will align.
